Terms of Service
These terms describe the rules for using Keylight to manage production operations, crew communication, hiring, DTRs, timecards, and documents.
Effective date and operator
Effective date: [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE]. Keylight is operated by [INSERT LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [INSERT MAILING ADDRESS]. For terms or service questions, contact [INSERT SUPPORT CONTACT EMAIL].
Using Keylight
Keylight is a production operations tool. It is not an employer, payroll provider, union representative, accounting firm, or legal authority. Productions and users are responsible for confirming the accuracy of crew records, hiring details, DTRs, timecards, generated documents, contact information, and any downstream payroll or employment decisions.
Accounts and project access
Users must protect their login credentials and only access projects they are authorized to use. Project owners and managers are responsible for inviting appropriate users, assigning roles, removing access when needed, and keeping project information accurate.
Text messaging terms
Keylight may send transactional text messages for production operations, including work requests, hiring or schedule updates, account/security messages, and direct responses. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Where supported, recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything from Keylight, and accepting work is always subject to the production's own hiring process. Crew managers must only enter phone numbers they are authorized to use for production communications.
Work requests and links
Work-request links may allow a recipient to accept or decline production work. Treat those links as sensitive and do not forward them. Keylight may expire, close, or reject responses when a request is no longer available or appears unauthorized.
Content and files
Users are responsible for messages, files, photos, documents, and other content they upload or enter. Do not use Keylight to upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive, malicious, or unrelated content. Productions are responsible for obtaining rights and permissions for production materials they store in Keylight.
Availability and reliability
Keylight is provided as available and may change, pause, or experience outages. Users should verify time-sensitive production details through appropriate channels when needed. Keylight is not responsible for carrier delays, message filtering, unavailable networks, incorrect phone numbers, or third-party service interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Keylight will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the period allowed by applicable law.
Changes and contact
Keylight may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms are posted means the updated terms apply. Contact [INSERT SUPPORT CONTACT EMAIL] with questions.
